Support for the Social Integration of Political Prisoners and Exiles and their Family Members in the Republic of Lithuania

Political prisoners, deportees, and their family members who wish to return to the Republic of Lithuania for permanent residence can take advantage of the assistance provided by the Lithuanian state for resettlement and social integration in Lithuania. Since 1992, when the programme for the return of political prisoners, deportees, and their family members to Lithuania was launched, state support has been provided to more than 5,000 individuals returning to Lithuania.
